There is no place like Hong Kong. I’m probably wrong, actually. I’ve not been anywhere else in East Asia, but DAYUM Hong Kong is the most gorgeous mix of natural beauty, almost unbelievably tall buildings, a massive local art scene, and efficient public transportation. Yeah, I know that last one isn’t too glamorous, but it’s useful for everyone involved. Let me show you how I spent three days in aesthetic heaven.

For the first time ever, my father booked a family holiday just a few weeks ago. To Iceland, much to our surprise. As someone who doesn’t exactly thrive on ice, I was quite chuffed to be going during the summer. Little did I know, the puffins leave in early August! I was too late. However, I shared a tender moment with some lovely Icelandic horses.

C A M B O D I A

At the ripe age of fifteen, I learned about the (rough) history of the world. That’s when I formed my bucket list featuring Angkor Wat. However, my parents weren’t exactly thrilled about me traveling Southeast Asia alone after high school. So, I put Angkor on the backburner. Then, I moved to Bangkok and booked my ticket to Cambodia with one of my closest friends. Here are a few snippets of our time there–it was filled with history, art, and many western tourists.
