EDINBURGH

A few years back, when I first went to Edinburgh, it was during my sort of Harry-Potter-tour-of-the-UK. Hilarious, I know. I love Harry Potter, and that’s putting it lightly. Anyway, I remember I would always tell people that I loved Edinburgh more than London! WHAT? That’s not true anymore, after I lived in London, but it is a wonderful city that marries the old & new perfectly.

PARIS

      This city has been hyped up by so many people, books, movies, television shows and songs. I’ve actually been to Paris…twice. I was 10 years old the first time and 13 the second–not exactly ages where I can appreciate the nuance of a world-famous city. Though I vaguely remember liking Paris, I was only thirteen. We blazed through the city in under a week because we were visiting nine countries in two weeks. Yeah, you saw that right. Now that I’m in my 20’s and I’ve developed my own traveling persona, I wanted to return.

JURASSIC COAST

When the heat wave to end all heat waves hit England, I googled “best beaches in south England” and found the Jurassic Coast was full of them. Also, this Youtube filmmaker Jack Harries had posted an instagram of Durdle Door on the hottest day since 2006. Wherever he goes seems to be the most beautiful places in the world, so I was down. It was only a 2 hour drive from where we live (near London) and my father was still with us. First family trip of the summer!
